BlogFrog’s Savvy Blogging Summit Memories

by Admin on July 13, 2010

As part of the lucky BlogFrog team, I returned from the Savvy Blogging Summit 2010 inspired, connected and chock full of great information (and a little tired :) ). The Summit was held in beautiful Breckenridge Colorado over this past weekend and was awesome!

First, I want to thank the Savvy Blogging team for doing such an incredible job in organizing the event; keeping it real and focused on great content and networking opportunities; being accessible and super fun!

And  the food was amazing!

More than the food, what I really enjoyed was the attention to detail. The size of the event allowed us to connect with each other more deeply, the content was top notch, and the spirit of helping one another was everywhere. Great content not only came from the speakers, but also from the bloggers sharing their invaluable tips, tool, strategies and stories both in and out of the sessions.

We learned about everything from CSS and Design and SEO optimization, to Photography, Building a Media Kit and Community (and way more!) The event was topped off by a surprise panel with the Savvy Bloggers to wrap things up.  (You can check out the fun and super informative transcript of the Savvy Blogging Summit #sbsummit tweet stream here  – which contains thousands of tweets about the weekend and lots of great notes from the sessions).Photobucket

My head is still reeling with new strategies and wonderful Savvy Blogging memories from great classes to late night chat sessions and giggles which were icing on the chocolate cake!

As I settle back into my daily routine I feel more inspired, connected and knowing that anything is possible. It is truly and honor and a privilege to know all of the Savvy Bloggers (the team and attendees). I look forward to great things coming from this event and can’t wait until the next Savvy Blogging Summit!

Love that picture of Toni eating the cake!!! That’s priceless! I am going to miss you so much Lori. I felt like we hit it off so well, and I want to move out to Boulder just to be near you! Ha! :) I can’t wait to partner with Blog Frog again. You guys weren’t just sponsors, you were a part of the group – helping and learning right along with us. It was truly fabulous being there with you.

@TheThriftyMama Likewise – it was so great to connect. Next time I’ll make it to the hot tub too! Would love to have you in Boulder (purely selfish reasons :) lol) Let me know if you ever need anything.
@SheSaved – it was so great to meet you – and I’m glad I returned your frog – lol! I look forward to seeing you around BlogFrog! (and would love a pic of the frog in his/hers/its new home ;) )
@SweetJeanette – I even took a picture of the flash drive. So much great content on them!
@5dollardinners – It was really great to meet you (and your beautiful family). It’s a good thing Happy Housewife was able to wrestle that cake from your clutches – LOL! Keep up the great work.
